Nyasha Brighton Munyuru is a seasoned legal expert with a strong background in corporate law, alternative dispute resolution, and an international arbitration. As the Managing Partner and Head of Corporate Law Department at Muvingi and Mugadza Legal Practitioners, he has established himself as a reliable and dedicated professional .

Nyasha holds an LLBS (Hons) Law Degree from the University of Zimbabwe and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate Law from the University of South Africa. He also holds in Diploma in Commercial International Arbitration with the Africa Arbitration Academy. He is a Registered Legal Practitioner, Conveyancer, and Notary Public, with over 15 years of experience in business litigation, banking, and financial services.

His expertise spans various areas, including:

    • Corporate Law: Nyasha has advised numerous corporate organizations and has experience in preparing commercial agreements.
    • Dispute Resolution: He has handled complex commercial disputes, arbitration, mediation, and conciliation. He also sits as an arbitrator and have international experience in arbitration.
    • Arbitration: Nyasha is a qualified Arbitrator and has experience in handling disputes before different panels within Zimbabwe and internationally.

    Nyasha is a member of several professional organizations, including the Law Society of Zimbabwe, International Bar Association, and the African Users Council of the London Court of International Arbitration, Africa Arbitration Association and he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) . His contributions to the legal community have been recognized, and he has written published articles on arbitration and corporate law including the Guide to Arbitration Law in Zimbabwe which was published by the International Bar Association(IBA) . Nyasha’s litigation experience includes all aspects of arbitration, mediation and conciliation on commercial disputes. He is a qualified arbitrator who has handled disputes before different panels within Zimbabwe and outside. Having advised a number of corporate organisations, Nyasha draws praise for his smooth handling of complex issues. Nyasha practice covers diverse commercial matters as well as preparation of various commercial agreements. His reliable and dedicated nature serves as an important point of contact for clients as Nyasha heads the Mining law, Commercial Law & Dispute Resolution practice group. He sits on the boards of various organisations including commercial and financial entities. He is also a certified Data Protection Officer with POTRAZ and is an expert in all data privacy related issues.
